January 15th 2002 - Isobel, awkward as ever, decided to spend the last few weeks of gestation upside down (breach). Therefore Isobel was booked into Haywards Heath hospital in West Sussex and was born by Cesarean Section (like in the film Alien) at 10.29am. Isobel was absolutely perfect, but Mummy lost a lot of blood during the operation and was very unwell for some time after.
